Shamrock Rovers Football Club, commonly referred to as Shamrock Rovers or simply Rovers, is a professional football club based in Tallaght, Dublin, Ireland. The team has a rich history dating back to 1901 when it was founded by a group of young men from the Harcourt Street branch of the Gaelic Athletic Association.
